This course teaches students a foundational understanding of the principles and practices of video production. Through hands-on projects students learn the basic technical skills, aesthetic conventions, and terminology of videography, editing, and the collaborative production process. Using camcorders and cell phone cameras students practice using video as a medium for storytelling, communication, and creative personal expression.The course emphasizes the role of video as a professional means to communicate messages and explores career opportunities related to the field.
